The Rumble in the Jumble sale returns for its fourth year with clothes donated by celebrities including Noel Gallagher, Florence Welch and Blur.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday May 9 at the Oval Space in east London. Stallholders will be offering celebrity clobber and signed merchandises at bargain prices.

All profit from the sale will go towards Oxfam’s campaign for greater gender equality in Myanmar.

Radio 1’s Gemma Cairney and Dawn O’Porter started Rumble in the Jumble in a church hall in Islington a few years ago. The Music Circle joined the event in 2013.

Emily Cooper, founder of The Music Circle, said, “empowering women and gender equality is at the heart of what we do.”

With 62 million girls being denied education across the world and girls making up four out of five victims of human trafficking, Cooper said “it’s important we as women all stand together.”

Last year’s Rumble in the Jumble sale included a special appearance from Elton John’s sparkly Versace suit. The event raised a record £27,000 for Oxfam’s aid work with abused women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

“Last year was amazing and I can only hope we do the same again this year,” Cooper said.

Big brands such as ASOS, Topshop and Cath Kidston have contributed to the jumble sale with clothing, accessories and beauty products.

The event also offers rumblers and jumblers the chance for a mini-makeover with Smashbox Cosmetics, who are offering “bold, bright lip looks” for a donation of £3 throughout the day.

Food and drinks will be available courtesy of Joe’s Tea Company, Drink, Shop & Do cakes and The Bowler.
