GE2015 mapped: polling stations

The Lewisham results are expected to be declared at 4am tomorrow morning.

Lewisham is a bustling, diverse community consisting of many different ethnic groups. The borough is considered a Labour stronghold with all three constituencies – Lewisham Deptford, Lewisham East and Lewisham West and Penge – having elected Labour representatives as their MP in the 2010 general election.

It remains to be seen how the “lettergate” controversy will affect Conservative hopes of rivalling the Liberal Democrats, who finished second behind Labour in all three Lewisham constituencies in 2010.

At recent Lewisham hustings, issues of democratic reform, creeping privatisation of public services and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) have been raised with prospective candidates.

Whether you are a first-time voter or just need a refresher on casting your ballot, take a look at our polling dos and don’ts.
