Tower Hamlets Mayoral candidate John Biggs

John Biggs is the Labour candidate for the 2015 Tower Hamlets Mayoral re-election which will take place 11 June.

He stood as the Labour candidate in the 2014 elections, when he lost to Lutfur Rahman, the Tower Hamlets First candidate  by 37,395 votes to 34,143 votes .  Rahman’s election was  declared void by the High Court when it delivered its judgement on 23 April 2015. The court sat as a special Electoral Court.

Biggs has been a Labour Party member since 1981 and was a Councillor in Tower Hamlets between 1988-2002.
