Three men have handed themselves in to police following an assault on two brothers on a Lewisham-bound train.

The three walked into a police station at the weekend after a public appeal to track down four men captured on CCTV images. The fourth man is still at large.

The attack occurred on the 11:22pm Charing Cross to Sidcup service on Saturday May 30.

A 46-year-old man was treated in hospital for facial lacerations while his brother, 51, received minor injuries.

Of the three suspects who attended the police station on Saturday, two have been reported for assault while the third will face no further action.

Police released four CCTV images following the attack but are still appealing for the public’s help in identifying the remaining male suspect.
