American Chef Tommy Updegrove is bringing his Pick Your Topping (PYT) burgers to Dalston on August 27 for National Burger Day.

So, if Donut Cheesesteak Burgers, Coco Pop Chicken Burgers or Krispy Kreme Sliders with Chocolate Dipped Bacon with no pickle tickle your fancy, join Upegrove in Dalston to ensure London are guaranteed an infinite supply of PYT burgers.

Known to give regular fast-food restaurants a run for their money, Updegrove uses a somewhat abstract menu filled with quirky flavour combinations. This includes burgers made from pizzas, donuts, cheese, bacon, chocolate rice crispies and much more.

Updegrove said that all recipes are created by experiment and taste approved by him. “We’ve never done a burger that we didn’t feel was a positive taste experience – these are all taste-based,” he said.

Though the food may be tasty, some burgers included in the menu may contain over 1,400 calories.

If they are received well by the British public, Updegrove would most certainly open a PYT restaurant here.
