Dane Bowers’ sentencing has been delayed until next month, after the pop star was found guilty of assaulting his ex-fiancée, a former Miss Wales.
Bowers, 35, appeared at Croydon Magistrates court this morning after being convicted last month, but the case was delayed until November 2, as a pre-sentence report was not ready.
The Another Level singer has denied the assault, having told police that he was acting in self-defence when Sophia Cahill was hit on the nose during an incident at his parents’ house.
Judge Andrew Sweet previously said that the possibility of a prison sentence had not been ruled out when Bowers was convicted on September 14.
