A man has been arrested after allegedly slashing more than 60 car tyres in an Orthodox Jewish area in Stamford Hill.
The 58-year-old was taken to a North London Police Station on suspicion of causing criminal damage to vehicles on October 28.

Jewish neighbourhood watch team Stamford Hill Shomrim told Yeshiva World News that about 19 cars parked outside homes in Stoke Newington were vandalised.

Hackney police has not released the identity of the suspect at this time, and could not comment on where the man is being held.

Sergeant Owen Pyle said his team would be stationed in Hackney on reassurance patrols throughout the following day.
