The Metropolitan police have launched an investigation into a burglary in Tower Hamlets today after new CCTV footage of the offense has emerged.

The burglary took place between 10.10pm and 10:30pm, on September 8 at Activia Training Centre in East Smithfield.

The CCTV footage shows a man wearing a grey hooded top, blue jeans and black and white trainers.

The suspect, thought to be in his early 20s, is seen forcing the entrance door of the property open before leaving with items including with computer equipment.

The police have so far made no arrests.
