Two men have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man in Tower Hamlets.

The incident happened in Bethnal Green around 8.40pm on October 3, after reports of a shooting on Florida Street.

The 20-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after at 8.45pm.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have not yet formally identified the victim, though they believe they are aware of his identity.

Police have said they will be scheduling  a post-mortem examination in due course.

The 29-year-old and 21-year-old suspects remain in custody at an east London police station.
