Millwall hope to extend their unbeaten run to 16 games with a win against Peterborough in a Sky Bet League One clash this evening.
In their last league meeting Peterborough beat Millwall 5-1. However Millwall are entering the game on the back of a ninth consecutive clean sheet and will hope to make up for the result of the previous game.
An important clash for both teams, Millwall, who have drawn their past two matches, would go sixth in the league with a win at home tonight. The Lions are likely to be without top scorer Steve Morrison and midfielder Jed Wallace who both also missed out on this weekend’s goalless draw at Oldham Athletic.
Peterborough had a solid 3-1 win against Rochdale last Saturday but will be without captain Jack Baldwin who starts a two-match ban after his red card last time out. Peterborough are also having injury issues with their second highest scorer Gwion Edwards being out for eight weeks after a knee injury. However, manager Grant McCann has no new injuries to deal with after the win at the weekend.
Kick off is at 7:45 tonight and tickets are still available.
