The victim of the fatal motorbike crash in Blackheath hill on June 1 has been named as 38-year-old Ivan Ivanov.

The emergency services were called to the scene at 7.21am on Thursday 1 of June, before he was rushed to a South London hospital.

The Blackheath resident died in hospital after his bike crashed into a traffic island and he was pronounced dead at 1.25pm.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.

Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating. Next of kin have been informed.
