The Metropolitan Police have released an image of a woman wanted after committing a robbery in Tower Hamlets in July by claiming to be from the NHS.

Officers attended the scene after a call at 9.00am on the 8 July. The victim was a woman in her 50s, who lived in Mace Street, Globe Town.

A spokesperson from the Met Police said the victim “had been duped into letting someone purporting to be from the NHS into her home”.

Once the suspect was inside the house, a phone and cash were stolen from the property.

Officers want to speak to the woman in the picture concerning the theft and urge anyone who has information to call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
