The Metropolitan Police have released an image of the man they believe to be in connection with two separate Croydon bus arson attacks.

The top floor of the 154 bus to Morden from Croydon was set alight while it moved through South Beddington at around 8pm on October 8. The driver evacuated the vehicle safely and no injuries were reported, however the bus was completely burnt out and the damage is estimated to exceed £200,000.

Police also want to speak to the same man in connection with another arson on a 154 bus on Sunday October 3, when a fire was discovered at the rear whilst travelling from West Croydon to Morden (again).

Officers from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating anyone who recognises the man, and witnesses or people who have any information are asked to call police on 101.
