1. Festive Lunches 

Join Croydon Health Services NHS Trust staff for festive lunches. Running up to the Christmas season, the menu includes vegan and meat options, as well as mince pies and Christmas puddings for dessert.

2. Festive Wreath Making  

Get creative with sustainable materials and create your own Christmas wreath.  

Stanley Arts invites experts Marcus Woolf and Charlotte Cranidge from Woolf & Wild to guide their wreath making workshops.

1. Gingerbread Biscuit Baking 

Hackney School of Food presents gingerbread baking workshops, where families and children can make festive cookies, decorate them and celebrate this Christmas tradition together.  

Join the class to get the recipe, recreate them at home and make another batch!

2. 360° Sound Experience 

An “one-of-a-kind immersive” exhibition named ‘AMAUROSIS’ launches their 360° sound experience. In this hyperrealistic event, audiences will be visually bombarded with live installations, interactive technologies, guest talks and Christmas socials.  

“Amaurosis Fugax; a temporary loss of vision, due to tired or overworked eyes, where vision switches off momentarily.“

1. Migration Museum’s play, ‘A Place for Me’ 

Inspired by the historical tale of Clemence and Iris, “A Place for Me” portrays the pair who migrated from the Caribbean to Lewisham in the 1960s.  

Funded by the Tackling Race Inequalities programme, this storytelling performance is created by year 7 students from St Matthew Academy.

2. Lewisham Market Winter Festival 

Enjoy the Christmas spirit by browsing through food stalls, local traders and listening to live music!  There will be a bauble decorating workshop for family and friends. Local performances from the Lewisham Choral Society, Strawberry Thieves Choir, and Telegraph Hill Community Choir.

1. Aldgate in Winter Festival 

Aldgate Connect returns for its sixth year with their festive event programmed by local curators. 

The event includes winter markets, outdoor projector exhibitions, community feasts and public lantern making.

2. Festival of Print 

East London Printmakers exhibits contemporary printmaking by 95 artists and recipients of the ELP’s Studio Bursary Awards.  

Expect various print works on fabric, paper, metal, wood and Japanese vinyls to be displayed.
