A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder of Lianne Gordon, 46, who was shot and died in Hackney on December 5.
The teenager, who has not been named, has also been charged with the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man, who were hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries and later discharged.
The boy was also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and the possession of Class A drugs with the intent to supply.
He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates Court on Monday , where Judge Susan Holdham referred the case to the Old Bailey on December 13. The judge said he would be remanded in custody at a youth detention centre until the hearing.
Police were called to the scene at Vine Close, Clapton on December 5 after reports of a shooting outside an address in the area.
The teenager was arrested and detained in the early hours last Friday
Police have not confirmed whether Gordon was intentionally targeted and are examining the possibility that it was gang-related.
