A woman aged 37 was shot last night in Broadway Market. According to the Metropolitan Police the shooting took place at 1.45 am. The woman has gun shoot wounds to her legs and has been taken to a hospital in east London. She is in a non- life threatening condition. Hackney Hive reports that the shooting took place near the Cat and Mutton pub. Broadway Market has posted a message on their site to reassure shoppers that the market will still open today.
