Visit The Hackney Christmas Beer Festival to discover some of the best breweries in the UK. Bohemia Place will be welcoming 10+ breweries that offer some of their most delicious brews, including Brew Club, Pressure Drop Brewing, Hackney Church Brew Co and Deviant & Dandy.
You can also catch up on some Christmas shopping from a selection of local businesses and artisan traders and eat some festive street food to pair with your favourite pint. The festival also has DJs playing from The Hackney Social & throughout the market.

2. Anti-Capitalist Christmas Market
This market offers an alternative to traditional high street holiday shopping, giving you the chance to be creative with your presents for loved ones and buy DIY and handmade goods directly from the makers.
Highlights from the market include a free swap shop to give or take second-hand clothes, books and more; DIY gift and card making; and independent makers’ stalls selling art, jewellery, natural cosmetics, textiles, zines and more.

1. Mid-Winter Magic: Light and Shadow
This unique installation is a special seasonal window display showcasing illuminated art by young pupils with autism from Phoenix School who have taken part in the Tower Hamlets Winter Light Project.
The bright, colourful and imaginative display is a part of a larger showcase of their work and expresses their emotions through the colours of the four seasons: vibrant as spring, warm as summer, earthy as autumn and cool as winter.

2. Family Festive Day in Victoria Park
A perfect chance to get into the festive spirit with a range of free activities in Victoria Park. No booking is required for the event, you simply have to show up at the venue.
The event will include live music, an arts and crafts session, children’s rides, mince/apple pies and Santa in full festive spirit!

A fun and festive workshop where you can create an eco-friendly Christmas wreath that you can treasure and use for years as holiday decor. You can create your own unique wreaths from fabric scraps and a secret recycled ingredient (that you will find out about when you join).
All fabric and materials will be included and the workshop organisers will provide plenty of festive materials including shiny, Christmas fabric but you can bring in your own too.

The Festive Fun Day event will have activities for the whole family as well as stalls by community organisations and trade unions around Lewisham, throughout the day.
Some events to look forward to are ‘Lewisham does lunch’ (free food for all but contributions by those who are able to bring a dish are welcome); drag queen story hour; zine-making workshop; nail and face painting; music, dance and magic shows; and much more.

1. Christmas Fair at St. John the Evangelist
Enjoy the festive season surrounded by history at this Christmas fair . It will be hosted at St John the Evangelist, Upper Norwood, which is a red brick Gothic Revival church built between 1878 and 1887.
You can enjoy mulled wine, mince pies, kids’ activities, cakes, BBQ and live music.

2. Christmas Cheer! at Croydon Minster
The Croydon Minster Christmas Cheer is a choral concert of traditional and popular favourites for the entire family and will ensure that your Christmas celebrations get off to a festive start.
The early-evening performances will feature traditional favourites by David Willcocks, John Rutter and others, as well as popular hits including White Christmas and The Christmas Song, with plenty of audience participation. Drinks will be served before and during the interval for a donation.
