A teenage boy has been charged with the murder of Shereka Fab-Ann Marsh, a 15-year-old girl who was shot dead at a house in Eastway on Saturday.
The boy, who is 15-years-old, will appear at Stratford Magistrates Court later today
Responding to reports of the shooting on Saturday, officers arrived at around 4pm, followed by the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, but Marsh was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination revealed that she died from a gunshot wound to the neck.
A gun, thought to be the murder weapon, was discovered in the house where the shooting took place which was the not Marsh’s home address.
Two 16-year-old boys who were also arrested close to the murder scene have been released without charge.
