Rishi Sunak is set to ban the selling of disposable vapes in England, Scotland and Wales by the beginning of 2025. This plan was announced during one of his visits to a school this Monday. Government data shows that 20.5 per cent of children aged between 11 and 17 tried vaping last year, triple the number from three years ago.

The Conservatives are planning to ban vapes under the Environmental Protection Act, due to their unsustainable nature. The question folds to whether this initiative will be a success, and whether the public will agree with the decision.

Eastlondonlines went out onto the streets of Shoreditch to ask the local people their opinions on the ban.
